Temporary Program Coordinator for the Sweden Department

Erikshjälpen is looking for a temporary program coordinator, a varied and challenging position with a focus on Erikshjälpen's Future Workshops. We warmly welcome your application!

Erikshjälpen is a child rights organisation a non-profit second-hand business. We operate in several locations in Sweden under the name Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad. Together with children, young people, and parents, we want to create conditions for personal development and social mobilization. Description of the project

As program coordinator, you report to the department manager and are part of the centrally employed team at the Program Department Sweden. Your main task is to work with the team and local staff to develop, coordinate, and evaluate Erikshjälpen's work in Sweden based on a strategy with a vision, goals, guidelines, and procedures for the work.

Work tasks

Examples of work tasks:

  • National project manager for the Dream Project Parental Power. As project manager, you will follow up and report on nationally set goals, coordinate national initiatives and events, contribute to communication efforts, and organize meetings for locally employed staff to meet and exchange experiences.
  • Be part of Erikshjälpen's opinion and influence team with special responsibility for monitoring and driving processes related to Sweden's work. As part of the group, you will keep up to date with relevant issues and represent Erikshjälpen in meetings, seminars, and gatherings as needed.
  • Participates in the department's overall work, such as writing texts, collecting data and information as a basis for reports, working on quality improvements for local operations, and writing applications for long-term Funding.
  • Represent Erikshjälpen in relevant networks and forums where it may also be relevant to present our activities.
  • Other administrative tasks are also part of the job.
  • Business travel is a regular occurrence. Sometimes this also involves overnight stays.

Who are we looking for?

As a person, you are a relationship builder with good collaborative skills who can also take initiative. You thrive in a representative role where you are an ambassador for Erikshjälpen. You are structured and can independently drive the work to develop our business and strengthen our position as child rights organisation Sweden.

 

You have:

  • relevant post-secondary education in, for example, health, pedagogy, social work, human rights or equivalent work experience that the employer considers relevant
  • Experience of working in or collaborating with public authorities and the non-profit sector on social challenges
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in both spoken and written communication.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of children's rights issues and Rights based approach
  • You share Erikshjälpen's values.

 

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in the non-profit sector
• Experience in social work with people in vulnerable life situations
• Knowledge of Erikshjälpen and its future workshops.

Terms and conditions

Type of employment: Fixed-term employment – Temporary position for 12 months

Scope of work: 100%.

Location: Head office, Huskvarna, or as agreed
