Barnrättsäventyret is an educational and exciting experience for children that helps explain what “ the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child ” means and how it can be applied in everyday life. The concept was developed by Erikshjälpen in collaboration with Räddningsmissionen.
Barnrättsäventyret is inspired by leading educators, researchers, and other educational programs on children’s rights in Sweden. From the first Barnrättsäventyret day held in the fall of 2015 and up until 2019, just over 2,500 students have participated in the adventure and helped shape its development. Today’s adventure includes the activities and discussion questions that have been most appreciated and have yielded the best results.
It is a physically active program that takes place mainly outdoors with collaborative exercises, discussions and music production. The adventure is intended for middle school classes.
