ERIKS - Erikshjälpen internationally
Erikshjälpen is a Swedish child rights organisation with a non-profit second-hand business. We have been working to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights since 1967. Internationally, we are known as ERIKS Development Partner.
We believe in the inherent power of children to change their own situation. That is why we work in a rights-based way and with child participation.
Long-term interventions
Together with partners, we work long-term on children's rights to education and leisure, health, safety and protection.
Humanitarian Aid
We also work with Humanitarian Assistance. Our aim is to save lives, reduce human suffering and support people's right to live in dignity.
Quality assurance
We work systematically with quality assurance at all levels. All our interventions and partners are quality assured.
Before I started here, I knew nothing about my rights. Now I know that I have the right to safety and protection and education
Our identity
Erikshjälpen's work is based on a three-part value base: the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the spirit of Erik and a Christian view of humanity.

Spring Funding
Our work is largely funded by private donors and institutions in Sweden, but also by the surplus from our second-hand activities.
