Borrow a trailer for free for three hours
Some of our secondhand stores have trailers from Use4Free that you can borrow for free for three hours. You'll need the Use4Free app to book and pick up the trailer. If you know you'll need the trailer for more than three hours, you can purchase additional time in the app.
You don't have to shop at Erikshjälpen Second Hand to borrow the trailer for free.

Here's how it works
- Download the Use4Free app.
- Make sure you have Location Services and Bluetooth turned on.
- Select a location or store to pick up the trailer from in the Use4Free app.
- If you reserve a trailer on-site at the store, you can borrow it for free for three hours if you pick it up within 15 minutes. You can reserve a trailer through Use4Free. If you reserve it in advance, you’ll have to pay a fee.
- Create an account using your email address and phone number. You'll receive an SMS code that you'll need to enter to confirm your reservation.
- Unlock the trailer using the Use4Free app.
- Use the trailer. The three free hours you get to borrow the trailer will start in 15 minutes.
- Return the trailer and lock it using the Use4Free app.

Frequently Asked Questions About Borrowing a Trailer at the Store
Return the trailer in the same condition as when you picked it up. Make sure it is empty, clean, and free of damage.
It depends on what kind of lock the trailer has.
Bluetooth Lock:
Tap “Open Lock” in the app under your reservation while gently pressing the button below the physical lock on the handle. You’ll need to be close to the trailer and have Bluetooth and location services enabled.
SmartLock:
Find your reservation in the app. Tap “Start Rental” and hold your smartphone up to the marked area on the front of the trailer. The rental has now started.
Is it not working? Check to make sure NFC (Near Field Communication) is enabled in your phone's settings.
If you need to borrow the trailer for longer than 3 hours, you can purchase additional time in the Use4Free app, provided the trailer hasn’t been reserved by someone else and your rental period hasn’t already expired.
If you exceed the reserved time and return the trailer late, you will be charged a fee for the time you are late when you return the trailer in the app. If this fee is not paid in the app, an invoice will be sent with an additional administrative fee.
