How we work with quality assurance

You should be able to rest assured that your donation to Erikshjälpen is used in the best way. That is why we work systematically with quality assurance at all levels. Here you can read more about how we ensure that your gift is used in the best way and that we live up to our values.

Monitoring and accountability

Erikshjälpen is audited annually by Swedish Fundraising Control for safe giving. We are members of Giva Sverige and have a 90 account. We have been awarded Giva Sweden's quality seal Tryggt givande, which means that we meet all the requirements of their quality code, and are reviewed by an authorized auditor. The label stands for quality, professionalism and transparency as well as ethical fundraising of gifts.

Monitoring and accountability

Quality assured interventions and partners

For all our projects, there is a special agreement between Erikshjälpen and our partners. In the agreement, we decide how the money will be used and how the work will be reported and reviewed. We regularly follow up on the work in the projects to ensure where the money goes. Payments are split so that we can act quickly if problems arise. If the project is funded by a third party, such as Sida, the Swedish Mission Council or Radiohjälpen, they are informed of the event.

Each partner provides its own reports on the progress of the projects. Erikshjälpens Regional offices and program advisors are also in close contact with our partners during the work.

The possibility to report shortcomings

To ensure high quality and responsible operations, we take Feedback and complaints very seriously. If you notice any shortcomings in our operations or those of our partners, you can report them, either directly to us or on the Feedback and complaints page

We also offer the possibility of Whistle blowing where workers, volunteers and trainees can report violations and serious wrongdoings that are of such a nature that it is in the public interest that they are detected and stopped.

By listening and acting on reported shortcomings, we can continue to develop our work and ensure that we live up to our values.
