Football For All Global is more than just football. We support young people who are at risk of social exclusion or harmful environments, helping them grow and give them the tools to achieve their dreams.
Football For All Global is a program where we work with local football clubs across Sweden to organize football activities around Sweden, to build bridges between the participants and the local community. Each participant is also offered a mentor who provides encouragement, support, and guidance throughout their personal development.
Every participant also takes part in something we call ‘Life Class.’ A dedicated trainer leads the group in conversations and reflections on lifestyle, social engagement and values.
Football For All Global gives young people at risk of social exclusion or harmful environments the tools to realize their dreams and reach their full potential; athletically, academically, socially and existentially. That's why Football For All Global is more than just football.
Football For All Global was founded in Canada in 2012. The concept was launched in Sweden in 2016.
Erikshjälpen runs the concept in Sweden within our Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad organizations and collaborates with football associations, parishes and enthusiasts, who build safe environments and personal relationships with the participants. At present, we collaborate with the Salvation Army.
The strength of Football For All Global in Sweden lies in a strong and sustainable foundation, built through ongoing evaluations, continuous value-driven work, and long-term strategies and partnerships.
The activities are currently located in four cities. We are located in Arvika, Helsingborg, Gothenburg and Uppsala and have reached over 500 young people since the start.
