What does a volunteer day look like when we come as Corporate?

When you arrive, we’ll start by giving you a brief overview of Erikshjälpen Second Hand our operations. Our staff will take care of you, provide clear instructions, and be on hand throughout the day to guide and support the group. We’ll provide snacks during the day. You’ll usually arrange your own lunch. A typical volunteer day might run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for example. The day concludes with a group debriefing. Before the assignment, you’ll receive a letter with practical information. Afterward, we’ll send a thank-you letter detailing how your efforts have made a difference. Q: Why does Erikshjälpen need volunteers?

Erikshjälpen is Sweden’s leading secondhand chain, with around 50 stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand’s missions is to generate as much surplus possible to support Erikshjälpen’s work for children’s rights. In 2024, we contributed 84 million Swedish kronor (SEK) surplus the children’s rights organization Erikshjälpen and the stores’ own partners. This would never have been possible without all our fantastic volunteers who give of their time. In total, just over 1,900 people are involved as volunteers in our operations. We are incredibly proud and grateful for this. When Corporate with us, we also see the benefit of our employees meeting people from other professions and workplaces and learning from their experiences.
