International and national work

In 2024, 88.4 percent of our income went to the work for children's rights in Sweden and the world. Our purpose costs are directly linked to Erikshjälpen's mission and vision. This includes aid projects, information projects and opinion formation. It also includes salaries and administrative costs for the staff who work with these activities.

Collection costs

In 2024, 6.6 percent of our income went to fundraising costs. Fundraising costs are the direct costs of encouraging and inspiring people to contribute to Erikshjälpen's activities, through marketing, fundraising letters and communication. It also includes salaries and administration costs for the staff working with fundraising.

Administration costs

In 2024, 5.0 percent of our income went to administration. Administration costs include such costs as are needed to run and administer the Erikshjälpen organization. This constitutes a quality guarantee for the purpose and for the donor. Administration costs include salaries and administration costs for staff in HR, finance and IT and Secretary-General. This item also includes accounting and auditing costs and other costs that cannot be attributed to fundraising or project activities.

Erikshjälpen's donors have supported 89 projects for children's rights during 2024. The focus has been on children's right to education & leisure, health, safety & protection and disaster response and
disaster risk reduction.

16 countries

In 2024, Erikshjälpen has worked with long-term interventions for children and families in 16 countries. Six more acute humanitarian interventions have been implemented in four countries.
