Butikschef till Erikshjälpen i Genarp

Erikshjälpen och Pingstkyrkan i Lund har samarbetat i över 30 år. Tillsammans driver vi secondhandbutiker där försäljning kombineras med ett viktigt socialt engagemang. Genom verksamheten skapas möjligheter till arbetsträning och volontärskap för människor med olika bakgrund och förutsättningar. Överskottet från butiken går till bistånd och sociala projekt.

Pingstkyrkan i Lund arbetar för att alla människor ska få möjlighet till ett liv där det finns en plats, en uppgift och där alla har en gåva att bidra med. Som butikschef blir du en viktig del i att förverkliga denna vision.

Description of the project

Som butikschef ansvarar du för att leda och utveckla den dagliga verksamheten i Erikshjälpen i Genarp. Du har ett övergripande ansvar för butikens drift, personal, ekonomi, arbetsmiljö och utveckling.

An important part of the role is to ensure a smooth flow of merchandise—from donation to sale—and to work with staff and volunteers to develop the business so that the store achieves its goals.

You will work both on the shop floor and on administrative tasks. You will also serve as a key point of contact for donors, customers, partners, and government agencies.

This is a position for those who enjoy leading people and creating structure, while also wanting to make a difference.

Work tasks

• Lead, plan, and develop the store's operations and staff based on established goals.
• Be responsible for finance, the budget, and financial Monitoring.
• Develop and streamline the store's inventory flow to optimize sales and profitability.
• Work to increase the influx of donated goods.
• Be responsible for the recruitment, orientation, and training of employees and volunteers.
• Serve as the point of contact for the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Probation Service, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency regarding job placements.
• Be responsible for ensuring a good, safe, and secure work environment.
• Represent the store to the outside world and develop relationships and partnerships with donors, partners, and government agencies.
• Collaborate with the HR manager appointed by the board, the store council, store managers in the Lund region, and the Pentecostal Church’s Secondhand Council.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a confident and clear leader and who has the ability to inspire commitment and help people grow based on their individual strengths.

You have experience in retail operations and personnel management, and you have a business-minded approach. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and good at building positive relationships.

We would like you to have:

• experience in retail operations and personnel management
• financial acumen and business sense
• the ability to be responsive, build relationships, and lead people based on their individual circumstances
• strong administrative skills
• strong organizational and planning skills
• strong written and oral communication skills
• B driving license.

Experience in secondhand operations, nonprofit work, volunteer work, or working with people in various life situations is a plus. We highly value your personal qualities.
