In the Föräldrakraft project, Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad organizes Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad in connection with the participants' residential areas. The focus is on play, community, and positive encounters between children and parents.
Family activities are held in places where children already spend a lot of time, such as schools, recreation centers, or meeting places in the area. This helps parents better understand their kids' everyday environments. When parents get to know these places, it becomes easier for them to relate to their kids' experiences and situations, and to feel comfortable participating in things like parent-teacher conferences, development meetings, and school activities.
