At Rosenlundsskolan in Jönköping, students in grade 6 have learned more about children's rights through the Convention on the Rights of the Child. They have then created films so that more children can learn about their rights. In the movie below, the students describe why they wanted to make a movie.

Choose one of the 54 articles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to feature in your film. Immerse yourself in the article you have chosen. Erikshjälpen Rafiki has prepared questions that you can answer in your movie.
Write down what the movie will contain. In Erikshjälpen Rafiki's storyboard, you can fill in how you intend to film. You draw what will be seen in each shot and write who says what.
Now it's time for you to film. Follow your script and storyboard from start to finish. Cheer each other on and watch the clips you make.
Now it's time to put your movie clips together into a movie. Maybe you want to add text, images and backgrounds? Maybe you need to cut out some clips so the movie isn't too long? Editing a short movie takes a long time, but it's worth the effort and can be fun! The movie should be 2-3 minutes long.
What would a movie be without a premiere? Celebrate your work with a movie premiere in the classroom.
In order to teach someone else about the CRC, you first need to learn more about it. Learn about what the CRC is and think about how it affects you, other children and adults.
