On Saturday, October 4, Erikshjälpen participates in Radiohjälpen's fundraising for Världens Barn. Then Erikshjälpen Second Hand donates the entire daily cash to the collection. You are warmly welcome to contribute by shopping in one of our second hand stores!
Cooperation between Erikshjälpen and Världens Barn
Världens Barn is Radiohjälpen's fundraising for all children's right to safety, health and school. The fundraising is done in collaboration with Swedish Television, Swedish Radio and 13 civil society organizations, including Erikshjälpen.
Since 2000, Erikshjälpen has contributed to the collection for Världens Barn in a unique way, namely by donating an entire day's cash from all second-hand shops.
The common goal
The common goal is to raise money for projects around the world to promote children's rights. Each participating organization has a specific project that is highlighted each year.
Erikshjälpen's focus this year - portable schools for more children to get an education
In Bangladesh, the land of many rivers, Erikshjälpen works with the partner organization Friendship. Together we work to ensure that children can go to school despite the climate disasters that constantly threaten the country.
portable schools have been successful in reaching children in hard-to-reach and climate-vulnerable areas. Training in crisis preparedness and children's rights has also proved effective. Children are using their new knowledge to change both their own futures and their communities.
