Erikshjälpen is a child rights organisation a non-profit second-hand business. We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights. This year marks our 80th anniversary.
Internationally, we are known as ERIKS Development Partner. Together with local partner organisations , we work long-term with children's rights in 15 countries. In Sweden, our work for children's rights is mainly done through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand shops. In total, we run about 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden and Norway.
The children's rights organization Erikshjälpen is a foundation and Erikshjälpen Second Hand is a non-profit association. In practice, we are two legal entities that work together under the same brand, share the same vision and support each other's goals.
Erikshjälpens management and board consists of two separate boards and a joint management team. Erikshjälpens Secretary-General is Mattias Ingeson.
Erikshjälpen Second Hand is a non-profit organization with its own board. The executive director is Jerker Sandell.
