Payroll Administrator for head office Huskvarna

Erikshjälpen is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated payroll administrator for our Finance Department. Erikshjälpen is a child rights organisation a nonprofit secondhand business. Together, we share a common vision: a better where children’s dreams come true.

We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, children's rights work is mainly carried out through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen.

Description of the project

As a payroll administrator, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with applicable laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies and guidelines throughout Erikshjälpen. Your role involves close collaboration with HR, Finance, and managers, as well as contact with government agencies and external parties. This is a 50% position, which means you will work full days for two weeks each month.

Work tasks

Examples of work tasks:

  • Manage and ensure the quality of the entire payroll process, from data entry to payment
  • Recording and accountability working hours, schedule changes, and various types of absences
  • Interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements and applicable laws
  • Issue an employer's certificate
  • Reporting to various government agencies
  • Support managers on payroll-related issues, the preparation of documentation for financial statements, audits, and
  • statistical reporting
  • Reports to HR
  • Secure handling of personal data in accordance with the GDPR
  • Other administrative tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

You:

  • has documented experience in payroll administration, preferably 5 years
  • holds a relevant high school diploma or equivalent qualification from a vocational college
  • has a solid understanding of Swedish tax law, labor law, and collective bargaining agreements
  • has experience with HR and payroll systems; experience with Flex HRM or Kontek is preferred
  • has a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • is accustomed to working in various systems, particularly in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

  • Additional training in labor law
  • Experience with payroll management in large organizations
  • Knowledge of pensions, insurance, and process development
