Erikshjälpen Second Hand a nonprofit secondhand organization. When you shop at one of our 50 stores, you help strengthen children’s rights around the world. The proceeds from our stores help fund Erikshjälpen’s work to promote children’s rights.

Our stores have clearly organized sections, and the items are sorted by color and function. And everything you can buy secondhand in our stores is in good condition and clean. Wide selection of secondhand items

Erikshjälpen Second Hand accepts furniture, household items, and clothing from private individuals Corporate. In other words, we do not purchase these items; instead, we receive them as donations from generous private individuals Corporate.

We Swedes are among the best in Europe at donating items to thrift stores. As a result, the selection on the Swedish secondhand market is incredibly vast. You can find everything from vintage and retro items to products that are still available for sale in stores.

Whether you donate to Erikshjälpen Second Hand or shop at one of our stores, you’re helping to ensure that more children have their rights fulfilled. Yes, you could call Erikshjälpen a store-based flea market, though we describe ourselves as a nonprofit secondhand business. Our stores have clearly defined sections, and the items are sorted by color and function. And everything you can buy secondhand in our stores is in good condition and clean. Just like in a regular store. That’s not the case at all flea markets and other places where you can shop secondhand. 

We sell used goods just like any other flea market, but the proceeds from the sales go toward Erikshjälpen’s work for children’s rights. At many flea markets, you can both sell and buy items. But in our secondhand stores, you can only buy items—you can’t sell them. However, you’re welcome to donate items to our secondhand stores.

No, we are not a for-profit organization. Erikshjälpen Second Hand a nonprofit organization that operates retail stores. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand’s missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children’s rights organization Erikshjälpen.

There are about 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Sweden and Norway.

Some vintage stores sell the items you drop off on a consignment basis. This means you get paid once the store has sold your clothes and other items. That’s not how it works when you drop off items at Erikshjälpen Second Hand. You can only choose to donate your furniture, clothes, and items to us. The proceeds from the sale of donated furniture, clothes, and items go toward Erikshjälpen’s work for children’s rights.

 

We restock all the time! We restock before every opening day, but also throughout the day. So there’s always a chance to find great deals, no matter what time of day it is. 

If an item hasn't sold within four weeks, it is sorted out and sent to one of our partners. This way, we make room for more new items!
