Erikshjälpen's Youth council is the council that brings a young perspective to our work. Erikshjälpen was founded by a child who wanted to help other children. Therefore, it is important for us to let young voices be heard, not only in our projects but also within our organization.
Erikshjälpen's Youth council has been working since 2022 to raise and strengthen young people's voices within our organization. The council consists of seven representatives who are involved in preparing proposals and pursuing issues aimed at Erikshjälpen's management and board. They act as a sounding board and act as a young expert group in Erikshjälpen's work, as well as in children's rights work and in Erikshjälpen Second Hand.
Erikshjälpen's Youth council has the opportunity to comment on Erikshjälpen's campaigns, on opinion issues and changes within the organization. They can also pursue their own issues as needed.
Erikshjälpen's Youth council consists of Minna Al-Hassani, Felicia Carpvik, Eleonora Ljungdahl, Sudi Osman, Johanna Strindlöv, Nils-Emil Yngvesson and Alissar Rajha.
The members of the council all have a connection to Erikshjälpen from before. They have, among other things, been Youth Fundraising Ambassador, young sponsors, volunteers or engaged in Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad. They are between 16 and 24 years old and geographically spread from Uppsala to Helsingborg.
